Booked a car with after-hours drop-off at the Nanaimo Seaplane Terminal office. Got to the drop-off address only to realise that the key drop box is inside the Harbour Air office... which closed at 5pm. Spent 20 minutes at 10pm walking around trying to work out where I was supposed to leave the car and its key. Tried to call, office was closed and could only leave a voicemail. Luckily there was another Budget location with a keybox a few minutes away so I dropped it off there. Took photos of the car's location to help the staff in the morning.. No email address. Tried to call the Budget Nanaimo Seaplane Terminal office at 8am the next day when the office opened (according to the confirmation email and Google) and again at 8:10am, but got an automated message saying the office was closed. Finally got through to the office at 09:15 to get confirmation that they'd found the car and they had the audacity to tell me that they were 'just about to call me'. Why offer after-hours drop-off if the office is closed and there's no accesible key box? And how about a little communication? Pathetic.
