BCebike go the extra mile every time I need something for my bike. The last visit, I went to shop not realizing it was closed. The owner was on the property and replaced my brakes while we chatted. He did a quick service check. Put air in my tires and sent me on my way with smiles on both our faces as the cost was very reasonable.

Naomi was amazing. I am a senior who hasn't ridden a bike for some time and she was so patient and understanding. She took the time to show me simple ways to build my confidence and enjoy the ride more. Thank you Naomi! I also like BCebike because the maintenance is done on site and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I brought my $4,500 Vamoose bike after my son had trashed it....and when I mean trashed, I mean trashed. Many many parts and components had to be replaced, it was close to being a rebuild (outside of the motor which was still running well). I went and got some colour-match paint and he made sure to touch up all the spots necessary as well. I told him to take his time, work on it when he could and just send me updates as he went. He did just that! He would call me weekly and give me regular updates which to me is an amazing service in itself. But he really took the time to do it all right. I was so pleased when I went to pick it up. He had thought of every little detail, he did a great job! I am a happy and now very loyal customer of BC ebike in Nanaimo! The drive from Nanoose is worth the workmanship and great customer service! Thank you so much Chris!

Biggest dealer of Surface 604 eBikes in British Columbia. I like this home business - why rent an expensive commercial building when you don't have to? I had some service and maintenance work done on my Surface 604 Rook - rear wheel spoke tightening, rear wheel rim straightening, lubing various bearings, new brake pads, adjusting shifter... pretty good job! I will buy another Surface 604 eBike from BCebike soon - I'll keep my original eBike (17,500 kilometers, 3 years old) as a guest bike; this way my guests can ride with me on the incredibly-pristine forest trails of my area - a secret location.

I called first to see if they can work on my brand of Ebike as I know they are all different, they said yes so I brought my Ebike there because the back brake didn’t work. Had the hassle of getting it all the way there and picking it up and they charged me $50 saying they can’t fix it and I need to contact manufacturer for new brake. I asked if I could order a brake replacement off Amazon or if they had any other brake systems that would work as I obviously wanted to get riding again asap and they said NO, no other brake systems will work on it this bike and only the exact brakes made by the manufacturer in China that made the bike would work which is WRONG. That would take weeks if not months to arrive. I went home, measured it, and ordered a 2 pin hydraulic Ebike rear brake from Amazon for $70, got it in 2 days and installed it myself in 10 minutes. Unfortunately this company was a huge waste of my time and money. I fixed it myself with no bike mechanic experience and it runs perfectly, yet they were unable to fix it. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but since this company is giving out wrong information at the cost of the customer I felt obliged. Had they simply told me no we don’t have parts or even know how to order parts for bikes other than the one we sell which is the facts there apparently, that would have been the good business practice, instead I was lied to/given wrong information and charged for it.

Excellent experience all around! We had never had ebikes before. Naomi was amazing! So patient and caring and super knowledgeable. We booked a test ride and she showed us the ropes and explained the key differences between ebike types. There was a tiny hiccup with my husband's ebike so we rode back over (a wee 10km ride) and they had it taken care of in a jiffy! 100% will recommend BC Ebikes to friends & strangers lol! They also had the perfect pet carrier for our small dog - she loves her bike rides! Thank-you again for making our experience so positive!

My partner and I visited BC Ebikes and to put it bluntly, I felt very disregarded as a female. The salesperson was extremely misogynistic. He literally looked at me 3 times during our 15 mins there. He spoke only to my partner. He asked him what he does for work, he asked him if he knew what certain components do. Didn't ask me one question! At one point we walked outside and my partner stayed inside to check something out and when the salesperson noticed he was only with me he stopped talking immediately and said he wanted to wait for my "husband". Even when I asked things about certain components he would answer my question to my partner. Mid way through he went inside and my partner and I both said that it was like I wasn't even there. Quite shocking! There is no way I'd buy a bike from him after feeling that way. I hope this review is a wake up call! It's not only men that make the purchases in a family - this isn't the 1950's. Please don't treat other females this way.
