I took my new-used bike in for a tune up and the guys at the shop went above and beyond to ensure my bike was trail ready. They were respectful, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the repairs they were doing and why so that I could choose a repair option that would best fit the needs of my bike on a student budget. Went here last December as my rear wheel had a broken spoke on my way home from work. Ted helped me out with a new wheel as the previous one is trashed. Told me to come back after a few days of riding to tune the wheel and so far it’s still round and true. Fixed the clanking noise from the hub as well. Thanks Ted.

Awesome shop. Ted has helped me numerous times and been very patient as I’ve dug through parts bins searching for exactly what I need. In a town full of bike shops that seemingly only cater to the mountain biking scene, a shop like this one stands out and Nanaimo’s cycling community is all the richer for it.

I have never experienced so much passive aggression at a bike shop in my entire life. The work was fine but one star for attitude. Not sure I will ever return there even though it is very close to where I live.
