This review is directed towards an on-line purchase and no store in particular. Unfortunately, SportChek does not make it easy to file a complaint through their corporate website or post a review for head office as it relates to on-line orders. If you are ordering online your credit card will be charged at point of purchase. However, prior to your receipt the courier can lose or mishandle the pack preventing receipt of product to you as the customer. SportCheks process in this case is to put the customer in a limbo wait period while an investigation takes place. In these situations, cases with the courier and cases with Sportchek need to be created and managed before Sportchek commences a back-office investigation. This can take several weeks. All at no fault to the customer and yet the customer has been charged for the product and has not received said product. In my experience with shipping, courier issues and making customer service a top priority the customer is not penalized or left waiting for their product. Especially if they’ve been charged for it and are not at fault. The manufacturer or seller, would resend a new order, expedited to suffice the customer’s charged purchase and would in parallel and separately manage the initial order and investigation with the courier. Until Sportchek changes their policy and makes the customer and their purchased transactions a priority in terms of fulfillment I will not order or recommend Sportchek online ordering again. I should not be paying for a product, have it lost in transit and wait weeks for an investigation to take place only to see what happens next. If you charge a customer for their ordered product you should be ensuring the customer receives that product in an expedited manner and make any fulfillment issues and investigations independent of that purchased transaction. Inclusive of re-sending the product while an investigation takes place.

Both my husband and myself went in for shoes and the young girl in that department was excellent (sorry, I didn't get her name). She did a great job helping select running shoes for my husband. I only gave a 4 start rating instead of 5 because of the 3 shoes I selected, not one of them was available in my size 8.5. The sales girl was however very helpful in locating them elsewhere for me.

How do i explain my frustrations with your Location A few years ago I bought my lovely bike at your Lindsay location and this year I noticed I was having break problems so the logical answer would bring it back to get a tune up there...will I was wrong. I brought it in the Sunday before Canada Day so I wasn't expecting to hear back for a few days maybe a week. I call a week later. They needed to get a part it should take a week to come in, logically I thought that it was already on its way. Another week goes by nothing.. another week goes by and I decided to call this Sunday to be told that the guy hasn't looked at it yet and he happens to not be there right now but he'll definitely will look at it tomorrow (today). I wasn't honestly expecting a call today but sweet I can pick up my bike today ! It's all done! The gentleman at the store let me know that 2 of my spokes are loose and will need replacing down the road(this is causing a problem with my breaks he said)...I didn't think he ment not even out of the parking lot! 3 weeks and I still have no back breaks! My front breaks sound awful, if not worse than before and I had a hell of a time shifting gears, what were they really do if not fixing my breaks a service that I paid for 3 weeks ago So thanks sport Chek for wasting my time, my money and for leaving me without my planned mode of transportation this summer I think I'll go find a better place and hopefully, just hopefully I'll have breaks that work.

You advertise and have signs in the store for buy one get one 50% off. I do exactly that and no discount at the cashier where she says "sorry, doesn't apply...let me get a manager." Manager comes, then promptly walks away without addressing anything. I wasn't rude, I was patient...I mean, it is day one of opening since being shut down due to Covid, so patience should be priority....of course, you have also had no income for over a month...one would think you would honor your advertised pricing. Oh well...ya didn't...so you lost a $150 sale from me. I guess your priorties still aren't clearly identified yet.

Frankly I feel defrauded. I was told I was getting a $20.00 gift card because I had spent over $100.00. But what Sport Chek did instead was charge me $20.00 for activating a Gift Card, and then put $20.00 onto the card. What Sport Chek did was take money from me and then converted into a form that I can only spend at Sport Chek. Not only did they not give me a twenty dollar credit, they took twenty from me. Further, I was advised that I have to spend the card before the end of October. If I don't do that, then my current purchase cost me another $20.00. So they did not give me a "gift card". Its absurd.
